Alright so now that we’ve covered how to set up the unit and how to use the buttons for setting over air purification mode along with ozone I’ll start with ozone since it’s a little more intimidating to the new users.
Ozone is great for disinfecting and sanitizing a room it can remove stubborn odors, bacteria, viruses, mold spores and even cigarette smokes.
When you’re using ozone in a room or such classroom you want to make sure the room is completely unoccupied which means removing people from the room if you have pets or plants remove them as well.
Since ozone is a respiratory irritant being exposed to a substantial amount is dangerous.
Set the ozone feature on select the purify fan speed if you want you can set the timer.
- Ozone is most effective in 2 hours of ozone treatment.
- Set the timer and leave the room shut the door.
When you come back the ozone will be dissipated into the air but let's say you can smell ozone it would be appropriate to open the windows and let the room air out for about 30 minutes or so.
When you’re using it at home such as in the bedroom it's best to turn it on for about 30 minutes or an hour but if that does the job you can either do the timer or manually turn off the ozone setting. Open some windows to let it air out for 30 minutes.
- If you use the ozone feature and notice a stench or smell there run it for about 30 to 2 hours and then do the process over again.
That's pretty much about the ozone it’s really effective when used properly and safely.
When it comes to air purification mode, pretty much straight forward turn the machine on to make sure the fan speed is at the speed you want and let it do the job. Let this thing run 24/7 with no mechanical issues.
We have one in our office that’s been running non-stop for years now. We just have to check the filters.
If you let it run constantly we recommend checking the filters for every 3 months.
- You can either vacuum the filter to remove excess dirt or debris.
- You can wash the filter under water to remove stubborn dirt or debris wait for it and dry it completely before putting it back into the ozone or air purifier itself.
Air Purification will keep your air cleaner and fresh it will help with allergens, pet dander, dirt, and dust along with other variety.
These machines are really effective when used properly and safety.
