- Marker
- Drill
- 3/8” Drill Bit
- 1/8” Drill Bit
- Phillips Screwdriver
Instructions
Find a stud in the wall you want to mount the vacuum on. A Stud Finder works best!
Next, use your drill with a 3/8” bit to drill a hole on your mark. Make sure you drill the hole at least 1 ¾ inches deep.
Then, take your hammer and hammer the stud sleeve into the hole. Make sure to leave enough of the bolt thread for the washers and nut to thread onto.
Grab your wall mounting plate and hardware and get one hole securely fastened.
Once it's fastened, use your marker to mark the bottom hole.
Now drill out the bottom hole.
Hammer the last stud sleeve into place.
Then securely fasten the wall mounting place to the stud.
Take your 1/8” drill bit and drill holes for the drywall screws.
Screw the two drywall screws into the last 2 remaining wall mounting plate holes.
Now that the mounting plate is securely mounted to the wall, take the garage vacuum and slide the backing plate down onto the wall mounting plate.
Now, find and mark another stud for the hose hanger.
Once the holes are marked, screw the screws into the located stud.
Take the hose hanger and mount it on the wall.
Now that you’ve got you vacuum and hose mounted, plug it in and you’re ready to clean!
