How to Keep Your Rainbow 2 Prong Cord from Falling Out
There you are… Vacuuming your home and all sudden your power head turns off. You look down and there it lies, the 2-prong cord connection. You plug it back in and seconds later it falls out again. Out of frustration you don’t know what to do. However, here at Great Vacs were all about helping people. So, in this quick video we will show you a quick trick to keep your Rainbow 2 prong cord connection from falling out.
Important Safety Tips
- Always make sure your machine is unplugged and the power button is turned off, before servicing your vacuum.
- Always make sure your hands are dry and free from moisture before servicing your machine.
- Be sure to wear gloves when servicing your machine to prevent any cuts or scrapes.

- Needle nose pliers
Instructions
The first things you need to do are unplug the two-prong connection and unhook the hose.
Take your needle nose pliers and bend the prongs out slightly.
Now hook your hose back up and plug the two-prong connection back in.
Tug on the cord to see if it falls out. If it still falls out try bending the prongs a little more. If it’s snug then you’re good to go!
