Replacing the Rainbow Tool Hose Wand

Has your Rainbow tool hose wand seen better days? Is it looking a little beat up? Well you're in luck, in this video we're going to show you how easy it is to replace the wand on your Rainbow tool hose.

This process will work from Rainbow D4 models all the way up to the E Series E2 2 Speed Blue model.

Important Safety Tips

  • Always make sure your machine is unplugged and the power button is turned off, before servicing your vacuum.
  • Always make sure your hands are dry and free from moisture before servicing your machine.
  • Be sure to wear gloves when servicing your machine to prevent any cuts or scrapes.
  • If you are uncomfortable working on your vacuum, please don’t hesitate to contact us at service@greatvacs.com and we can help you through the process or you can send it into us to fix it for you.

Supplies

Instructions

Take your tool hose and firmly grasp the tool wand. Simple pull the tool wand out.

If it is stuck and won’t come out, that’s where the heat gun will come in handy. Heat the rubber part up for 10-15 seconds to loosen it up.

Once the old tool want is out, grab your new one and simply insert it into the tool hose!
