Unboxing and Assembling the Prolux Core Floor Cleaner

Here’s something new! The Prolux Core Heavy Duty Commercial floor cleaner. From polishing to scouring to scrubbing, and everything in between. This buffer does it all! Watch Kyle unbox and assemble the Core and show us how we’re supposed to use it.

Important Safety Tips

  • Always make sure your machine is unplugged and the power button is turned off, before servicing your vacuum.
  • Always make sure your hands are dry and free from moisture before servicing your machine.
  • Be sure to wear gloves when servicing your machine to prevent any cuts or scrapes.
  • If you are uncomfortable working on your vacuum, please don’t hesitate to contact us at service@greatvacs.com and we can help you through the process or you can send it into us to fix it for you.

Supplies

  • Box cutter or knife

After opening the box you’ll find four pieces inside: the instruction manual, a blue and white tile/hard floor scrubber brush, a fifty-foot blue extension cord, and the Prolux Core itself.

Once removed from the box, the Prolux Core can be assembled with only one easy step! Simply slide the top part of the handle onto the bottom. Make sure the Prolux logo is oriented toward the front.

You can use the telescoping wand to adjust the height of the handle so that it is comfortable.

Use the foot pedal to unlock the tilt mechanism.

The extension cord holder will help keep a secure connection.

The Prolux Core has a single button for operation.

There are a wide variety of optional pads and brushes for all different uses! The light duty brush does well on carpet as well as many other surfaces.

Switching out pads and brushes is incredibly easy! Just pull the current one off the bottom and put the Prolux Core down on top of the new one, firmly pressing down. Its weight is enough to attach the pad for you!

If your tile floors are looking dull the Core has you covered! You can use polish cream and a microfiber pad to get them looking new again.

All of the pads and brushes are safe for wood floors as well.

Stiffer brushes are available for very hard surfaces – like concrete.

Coarse pads are even available to use for sanding.

Yes - even for sanding wood floors! The Prolux Core can really do it all!
